The LPM-zD is a high-accuracy ultrasonic gas flowmeter specifically developed for custody transfer and allocation metering in natural gas distribution networks. Using patented Broadband Continuous Wave ultrasonic technology, the LPM-zD delivers stable, repeatable measurements without any upstream or downstream straight pipe requirements, even under severe flow disturbances.

Measurement principle
The LPM-zD operates using Broadband Continuous Wave ultrasonic transit-time technology. By continuously measuring the difference in ultrasonic signal transit times in the gas flow, the meter determines flow velocity with high resolution and repeatability. The design is inherently insensitive to flow profile distortions, enabling accurate zero-D operation.
